Football club FC Ural signed a contract with the central defender of the Norwegian national team Stefan Strandberg. The footballer has already played in Yekaterinburg - in the second part of the 2018/19 season. In FC Ural, he won silver medals in the Russian Cup. A little over a year later, the footballer returns to FC Ural. Stefan will perform under the 4th number.

The first professional club of Strandberg was the Norwegian Mandalskameratene. For this team, the young defender made his debut at the age of 15. Further in his career were Brunet, Valerenga and the most titled club in Norway - Rosenborg. Since 2010, Strandberg has played for the youth team of his country, and since 2013 he was called up to the main national team. In 2015, Strandberg became a player of Krasnodar, from where he went on loan twice - first to German Hannover, and then to Ural. As part of Ural at the finish of the 2018/19 season, he played 10 matches in the RPL, as well as 3 matches of the Russian Cup, including the final. At the end of the lease term, Stefan left Ural. Strandberg spent last season in the Italian Serie B - at the Trapani club.

Футбольный клуб «ФК Урал» заключил контракт с центральным защитником сборной Норвегии Стефан Страндберг. Футболист ранее уже выступал в Екатеринбурге – во второй части сезона-2018/19. Вместе с «Уралом» он завоевал серебряные медали Кубка России. Спустя год с небольшим футболист возвращается в «Урал». Стефан будет выступать под 4-м номером.

В составе «Урала» на финише сезона-2018/19 он провел 10 матчей в РПЛ, а также 3 поединка Кубка России, включая финал. По истечению срока аренды Стефан покинул «Урал». Прошлый сезон Страндберг провел в итальянской Серии «В» – в клубе «Трапани».
